Openings New things to check out Collectibles, Pilates Now at Promenade Ken Schmidt, a connoisseur of sports and collectible memorabilia, has opened Charlotte Sports Collectibles at Promenade on Providence. Club Pilates South Providence is also now open. In future openings, Queen City Craft and Gourmet, an independent restaurant, and A Shade Above, featuring products by Hunter Douglas and Artisan Shutter, are expected to open this summer. In addition, The Q Shack has new owners, Dan and Debra Shane. Eateries Coming to Brigham Potbelly Sandwich Shop and Cabo Fish Taco are opening soon in Ballantyne. Both eateries will be located at street level in the Brigham Building's parking deck in front of the new Wells Fargo tower. Potbelly is expected to open late summer, and Cabo plans to open late fall. A retro eatery known for vintage d├ęcor and local live music, Potbelly serves made-to-order toasted sandwiches, salads, baked goods and hand-dipped milkshakes.
