E D I T O R ' S L E T T E R Prioritizing Fun Enjoy summer excursions, big and small M y father studied for the bar exam when my sister and I were little. I remember him poring over books at the kitchen table after dinner. We would tiptoe in to kiss him good night, careful not to disrupt his focus. He taught us by example (and verbal repetition) to be diligent and prioritize our work. Specifically — that we should complete work by Friday so it wouldn't hang over us all weekend. Summer is also the perfect season to take a lengthier escape to visit the city of Chicago, as Susan Shackelford shares on p. 72. Whether it's in Ballantyne or beyond, here's to a summer of fun. And to getting our work done by Friday! Jodi Werner Greenwald Editor-in-Chief For me, it helps to be married to a fun-first husband who encourages me to enjoy life in the now.
