Tabitha Hendrix Hometown: Kings Mountain, North Carolina Job: RealtorĀ®, The Mitchell Team, Coldwell Banker What do you like most about your work? Helping families and gaining lifelong friends through the process. Do you live in Ballantyne? I live off Providence Road. I have been in south Charlotte for about 19 years. What did you want to be when you were a kid? A doctor and study medicine at Duke Medical School. Do you have any pets? I wish. I am allergic to everything, it seems. What do you eat for breakfast? Usually a frappe and a blueberry muffin from Rush Espresso. What are you reading now? "The Power of Habit: Why We Do What We Do in Life and Business" by Charles Duhigg. What keeps you up at night? I replay my day, my interactions and reactions. I tend to think about my to-dos for the next day. What do you do in your free time? I love catching up with my 19-year-old daughter and spending time with my fiance's two beautiful little boys. Also, traveling and going on adventures. What charitable organization is important to you? Defeat GBM, because my mother, Sandra, passed away from brain cancer this year. Anything else you'd like to share? Being a young, single mother was never an excuse; instead, it was a reason to work harder in all facets of life. I hope I could inspire someone who thinks there is no hope to keep fighting.
