What do you like most about the work you do? The people — not only all our team members but also the guests that we accommodate in our hotels. You learn something new all the time. Do you live in Ballantyne? Yes, since 2002. I moved to Charlotte when I was 16. What did you want to be when you were a kid? In high school, I wanted to be a nuclear physicist. What do you eat for breakfast? Usually a cup of tea, a piece of toast and some fruit. What keeps you up at night? Thinking about how to be a good husband, father and son. How do you spend your free time? Playing golf or just lounging around with the family. What's No. 1 on your bucket list? There is nothing that I feel I have to do, other than seeing my kids be successful in life. What charitable organization is important to you and why? The American Diabetes Association. As a diabetic, I am honored to support the organization as it fights the disease. What is something that people would never guess about you? The fact that I was born and raised in Fiji.
