W I R E At a Glance What's happening in and around Ballantyne HoopTee Celebrity Golf Classic Holds 15th Annual Fundraiser C harlotte Hornets President Fred Whitfield and a host of high-profile guests celebrated the 15th Annual HoopTee Celebrity Golf Classic at The Ballantyne in July. HoopTee is the primary fundraiser for HoopTee Charities Inc., a nonprofit started by Whitfield to support activities that make a positive impact on the lives of less fortunate children across the country. The event brings together golf enthusiasts from the world of business, sports and entertainment for two days of competition, relaxation and fun for the cause.
