ago. There, nearly 540 students are working
toward adult bachelor's and graduate degrees.
"What makes the Ballantyne campus
unique is it's designed around adults with
full-time jobs who are trying to improve their
career chances," says Sharon Foote, assistant
director of marketing and communications
for Wingate. "They aspire to do more in
their careers than they are doing now."
Being a Role Model
Michelle Wisniewski has been working
steadily toward her bachelor's degree for
years. She attended college in Boston but
returned to Charlotte to be closer to family.
