Marianne's putt just misses.
Marianne Schild and Alex Lee met during internships at the Arts & Science Council.
At the time, Alex was
heading into his final semester at Queens University, while Marianne was taking classes at Davidson. They're both active readers of the magazine, and they love the Date Night feature — which over the course of a planned occasion explores entertainment and dining options in our neighborhood. Alex, as it turns out, has some experience with event planning and coverage. During his ASC internship, he worked in the marketing department, where his chief responsibility was updating the Charlotte Culture Guide. As a result, he always had the inside track on fun activities happening in and around the Queen City, Marianne says.
