Q RULE NUMBER ONE
Don't have an art attack! "People say it all the time
when they first come in the door. I can't draw a straight line. I can barely draw a stick figure, and I always say, you know what, I can't either! We don't do straight lines and we never use stick figures!" Mirc says.
Instead, she tells people, "We do this process, it's like you deconstruct the painting, so you can copy it. That's how I teach you.
"First I'm going to teach you how to do the background, then the main part, and the highlights, and all the tricks that I know,"

she explains. "I'm going to do all of that in two hours and we will paint the painting together as a class. All 15 of us will be painting the same thing, but all 15 will be different." There are 1,200 different paintings. and a calendar on the shop's website shows which work of art will be featured on any given night. Parties of 10 or more can choose what they want to paint.
