What do you like most about your job? I am lucky to work in an industry and sport I am passionate about. It is satisfying to help golfers of all ages improve their game. Junior golf is becoming a large program for us at the club, and it's a lot of fun to be involved with.
Do you live in Ballantyne? Yes. I live in Ballantyne Meadows, right off Ballantyne Commons Parkway.
What is your favorite Ballantyne-area restaurant? The Blue Taj in Ballantyne Village. Indian cuisine is one of my favorite foods, and popular in England. This place is among the best Indian restaurants I have ever eaten, and the service is fantastic.
What is your favorite outdoor activity? I play a lot of golf and soccer, but I am always open to try new sports and activities. I recently tried my hand at paintball, which I have to say was addictive. Next on the agenda is snowboarding.
Describe your dream vacation. Las Vegas! And Feb. 4, that dream vacation came true!
What would your theme song be for walking into a room? "Eye of the Tiger."
I would be rather caught dead than wear ____. Our boss makes us dress up in some kind of theme for a charity event at the country club each year. Last year I was a monkey. I am not looking forward to this year.
What is your biggest pet peeve? People that use two- way radio cell phones. I really don't need to hear your whole conversation, do I?
What is a hidden gem in Ballantyne? WXYZ Lounge at the Aloft hotel. The bar is modern and has a great feel to it. It's a great place to relax and hang out, shoot pool, listen to live music and enjoy a different night scene.
What would people never guess about you? My nickname in college was "Flash" (It's not what you think).
