YMCA Hosts Survival Race
The YMCA of Greater Charlotte will host the C2 Survival Race on Saturday, June 2 at Cane Creek Park in Waxhaw.
Large and small companies, churches and schools are welcome to participate. Obstacles on the three- plus-mile extreme terrain trail run will include incline walls, sawhorse hurdles, hay bale jumps, agility tire drills, duck walks, lunges, army crawls and push-ups. Teams will consist of four people, and can be co-ed. The event begins at 8 a.m. Proceeds go to the YMCA annual campaign to support youth development programs in under-resourced communities around Steele Creek.
