Canty Foundation Hosts Wine Tasting The Chris Canty Foundation hosted a Corporate Wine Tasting last October at D'Vine Wine Café in Ballantyne Village. The event served as an opportunity for the foundation to increase its corporate connections and for guests to network with other businesses, foundations, and organizations.

Toys for Tots Event Brings in $30,000 The Fourth Annual Toys for Tots Golf Tournament held in September at Cedarwood Country Club in south Charlotte raised $30,000.
The event featured a captain's choice golf format followed by a silent auction and awards dinner. Sponsors from the Charlotte business community contributed funds, volunteer time, products and toys to make the event a success.
Toys for Tots is the Marine Corps' premier community-action program. Last year the golf tournament contributed $24,000 worth of toys purchased from Learning Express to make the holidays possible for hundreds of Charlotte-area children.
