Cure in honor of studio owner, Michelle Rogers, a three-year breast cancer survivor. The studio became a corporate sponsor of the event this year, along with sponsoring a water stop along the course. In addition, families and students within the studio assembled their largest ever race team, consisting of over 260 people who raised thousands of dollars for the cause. "I cannot express how blessed I feel to be embarking on my third year of survivorship surrounded by this kind of love and support," Rogers says. "Opening the space on the same day as the Komen Race was just poetic for me."

Raises $40,000 Elon Park Elementary recently held its 3rd Annual Fun Run, the primary fundraiser for the school According to Melody Amendola, vice president of fundraising for the school, this year's event overwhelmingly surpassed the goal of $25,000, raising $40,000.
