Club Backs 'Go Red' Campaign
The Swing for Red Golf and Tennis Tournament to beneft
Go Red For Women and the American Heart Association raised
over $23,000, close to triple the money raised last year. The
event was held in August at Providence Country Club.
Linda Lawlor, Gaye Noguchi, Marlene Ebert, Kathy Patterson,
Katie Chaplain, Tracy Whitman and Jamie Davies organized
the event. Providence Country Club also donated $500 to the
cause, as well as a continental breakfast for the players.

SPX Supports Heart Walk
A team of volunteers from SPX Corp., headquartered in
Ballantyne Corporate Park, raised over $21,000 during the 2014
Greater Charlotte Heart Walk in September. The SPX team
surpassed its goal for the event, which helps fund research,
education and advocacy for the American Heart Association.
