While I have been involved behind the scenes for more than five years, I look forward to connecting with more of you as we continue to bring a fresh perspective to the magazine. Your responses help guide us as we strive to create words and images that reflect the true essence of the people, spirit and place known as Ballantyne. With busy holiday schedules and the launch of a new year, sometimes we're focused on everyone but ourselves. For those with a little more time and in need of a major rejuvenation, the beauty and charm of Anguilla are the perfect solution to the winter blues. As a child growing up in the Midwest, I spent hours ice skating on the neighborhood pond while dressed in multiple layers of warm clothing.
