The Charlotte Chapter of Speedway
Children's Charities hosted the NRA
Teach Freedom Foundation "One of the
Kids" golf tournament at The Golf Club
at Ballantyne.
Presented by AutoTrader.com, the
inaugural event drew 130 players on
June 16 and raised more than $75,000
to help area children in need.
Proceeds support area nonproft
organizations as well as children of
wounded or fallen military members as
part of the Navy SEAL Foundation.
