'SEC Nation' Debuts Aug. 28 The show will debut before the Texas A&M-South Carolina game in Columbia, S.C., on Aug. 28. Other noted SEC Network football analysts include former LSU defensive All-Americans Anthony "Booger" McFarland and Marcus Spears, along with former quarterback Greg McElroy, whose Alabama team won the 2010 Bowl Championship Series title. The network will also feature a television simulcast of radio legend Paul Finebaum's daily show. Finebaum, considered the "voice of the SEC," rose to fame as the 20-year host of "The Paul Finebaum Show," which was heard nationally on Sirius XM. "The quality of this group speaks to the overall quality of the network," says Druley. "We're very proud of the talent we have here." When the network launches in mid-August, there will be about two weeks of preseason programming that will provide fans a broad overview of what to expect. Then things really kick into high gear with the Texas A&M-South Carolina game Aug. 28. Druley says the network will provide top-quality content that showcases SEC programs and some of the nation's best student-athletes. Moreover, the network is attracting many talented people to the area, including Druley herself. "We love being based here in Ballantyne," she says. "I think it's a wonderful place to call home."
