Every ESPN department has played a role." Aug. 14 Launch The network is scheduled to launch Aug. 14, and the 24/7 programming is a sports fan's dream, with more than 1,000 events in its first year. This includes 45 SEC football games, more than 100 men's basketball games, 60 women's basketball games and 75 baseball games. In addition, Druley says the network will feature original studio shows, live events and special content from many of the 14 schools within the 11-state SEC footprint.
