Rotary Club Prepares Meals Rotarians from Meck-South prepared 600 food trays for distribution to the homebound at Friendship Trays, a nonproft meals-on-wheels program serving Charlotte-Mecklenburg. Meck-South meets on Fridays at 7:30 a.m. at Another Broken Egg Cafe. Info: www.mecksouthrotary.org. Members of Meck-South Rotary recently supported Friendship Trays. Tanksley Tourney June 16 The Adam Faulk Tanksley Foundation is hosting a golf tournament on Monday, June 16 at Providence Country Club with a 1 p.m. shotgun start. Church Shows 'Faith in Action' On May 18, Harrison United Methodist Church cancelled services, and church members of all ages worked on projects for local groups such as the Charlotte Rescue Mission, Pineville and Sterling Elementary schools, Urban Ministry/Moore Place and Love Inc. This is the second year that Harrison United Methodist has held a "Faith in Action Sunday" service initiative. Info: www.harrisonumc.org.
