BALLANTYNE | faces TERRI WILLIAMSON Birthplace: Michigan. Lived there briefy and grew up in New England. Job: Volunteer position, board member and captain of business partnerships, BCC Rally. What do you like most about your job? I enjoy working with the all-volunteer team to raise funds and awareness to help end breast cancer. Do you live in Ballantyne? Yes — for nearly 10 years. What is your favorite Ballantyne-area restaurant? Hands down: Ilios Noche. What is your favorite outdoor activity? Snow skiing — as long as the temperature is above 25 degrees and the sun is shining. Describe your dream vacation. A continent I have not been to before (frst choice, Australia), or a return to South Africa, where my husband and I got engaged. I would love to experience another safari but this time utilizing high-tech photography. What would your theme song be for walking into a room? "Good Life" by OneRepublic. What is your favorite news source? Nationally, NBC Nightly News with Brian Williams. Locally, the CBS 11 p.m. news with Molly Grantham and Paul Cameron. I would be rather caught dead than wear _____. Uncomfortable shoes. What charitable organizations are you involved with? Why? BCC Rally. It's a nonproft organization that hosts a week-long series of events at the end of each September that beneft Rally for the Cure and Susan G. Komen for the Cure. Our work helps families in the Charlotte area and in 13 surrounding counties. What is a hidden gem in Ballantyne? Rush Espresso in Ballantyne Village. It serves the best coffee in town! Share something that someone would never guess about you. I'm not as organized as people think I am.
