Business Leaders Raise Scholarship Money
Business Leaders of Charlotte raised $16,300 at its ninth annual
charity golf tournament to beneft the ANSWER Scholarship
Endowment. ANSWER, founded by Ballantyne resident Susan
Andersen, provides scholarships to mothers in Mecklenburg and
surrounding counties seeking their frst four-year college degree
or associate degree.
More than 130 golfers played in the May tournament at
The Ballantyne Hotel & Lodge in Charlotte. Title sponsor
of the tournament was MetLife of the Carolinas. Additional
sponsors included Carolina Offce Solutions, Hendrix Business
Systems, HF Financial, Hibiscus Brand Management and Pruitt
