Craig's brother, Rich Calcasola, and Dave Ludwick are partners in Cabo's Ballantyne location, which represents a new franchise model for the restaurant. With backgrounds in law, marketing, real estate and construction, all the partners spent time doing hands-on learning in the NoDa kitchen. (Gary Walker was one of the original location's partners and now operates two Cabo restaurants in Virginia.) Ballantyne's location serves lunch and dinner seven days a week. A brand-new patio that can seat up to 50 has just opened. It's a pleasant place to mingle and enjoy libations while kicking back in comfy Adirondack chairs under starlight. With its relaxed vibe and easy access, Cabo has timed its launch perfectly to ride the trend that continues to bring new waves of fans and friends to Ballantyne.
