What do you like best about your work? I like social interactions with customers and the ability to manage my own business. Do you live in Ballantyne? I lived in the Ballantyne area for 11 years, but I moved to the Waxhaw area last year. What did you want to be when you were a kid? A musician. Favorite things to do in Ballantyne? Play golf and find a great restaurant. How do you stay organized? By keeping a diary. I try to keep a record of things that are important for work and personal life. What do you eat for breakfast? I drink coffee and make a smoothie with vegetables and fruit. What are you reading now? I just finished "Don't Waste Your Life" by John Piper. It's a spiritual book that helps with daily struggles in life. What keeps you up at night? I sometimes worry about my family and life priorities. How do you spend your free time? I try to keep an active, healthy lifestyle by playing tennis and golf. What's No. 1 on your bucket list? A road trip to all 50 states. What charity is important to you? Charities like Make-A-Wish Foundation, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and UNICEF. It is my Christian belief to care for children all over the world. What is something people would never guess about you? I used to be a rock-climbing instructor and belong to a rock-climbing club in college.
