In the open-air aviary, visitors enjoy the Wings of America bird of prey show daily, featuring rescued hawks, owls and eagles, cared for by the not-for-profit American Eagle Foundation. The aviary hosts the world's largest collection of bald eagles. Thrill rides are plentiful, and coaster fans will have their fill with the likes of Wild Eagle, Tennessee Tornado, Blazing Fury and Thunderhead. Splash Country, named one of America's Top 10 Best Water Parks by USA Today, will leave visitors happily soaked. THE ISLAND One of the newest must-visit attractions situated along Pigeon Forge Parkway is The Island, a shiny entertainment and retail complex. Surrounded by the Little Pigeon River, the development of more than 23 acres contains more than The Island's "dancing" water fountain was programmed by the same designers who did the fabled Bellagio Hotel fountains in Las Vegas.
