S O C I A L S E E N Rally Goes Pink for Komen Photos courtesy of BCC Rally volunteer photographers BCC Rally held three major fundraising events in September at Ballantyne Country Club: a United in Hope evening benefit sponsored by KPMG; a Ladies' Rally for the Cure golf tournament sponsored by the Charlotte Checkers and followed by a Hope at Home Luncheon sponsored by Charlotte Radiology; and a Breakfast at Wimbledon Ladies' Tennis event sponsored by AmWins Group and Ballantyne Country Club. More than 300 attendees and volunteers participated. In October, fundraising continued through Pink Bow Campaign events at businesses, neighborhoods and schools. BCC Rally, a nonprofit organization, has raised more than $1.8 million for Susan G. Komen to fund breast cancer detection, prevention, treatment and research.
