Owner Michele Matkovich had closed her uptown salon shortly before Harvey hit and decided to help industry friends there by sending her uptown salon contents, along with other supplies given by Charlotte-area salon owners. Bloody Marys Event Yields $47,000 Meck South Rotary's Bloody Marys on Five Golf Tourna- ment this fall raised $37,000 for Beds for Kids, and another $10,000 for other charitable causes. Rotary Supports Haiti Water Projects Ballantyne Rotary Club held its annual Safe Water "Fore" People Golf Tournament in October at Cedarwood Country Club. In the last six years, the club has raised more than $300,000 for clean water projects in Bayonnais, Haiti.
