Northwood Office Names New Hires Northwood Office has hired Jema Bravo and Kathryn Moody as prop- erty assistants and welcomes back Elizabeth Grove as assistant property manager. Sam Youngcourt has joined Northwood as IT specialist. Longview Manager Heads Industry Group Jim Sutton, general manager of The Club at Longview, was recently inducted as the 2017 - 2018 president of the Carolinas chapter of the Club Managers Association of America. Brett Curley, assistant general manager, and Brian Ramsey, director of food and beverage, were awarded scholarships for continuing education from the Carolinas Club Foundation. Career Close-up Kudos and opportunities Music Artist Enters Hall of Fame Ballantyne resident Anthony Hamilton, a Grammy-winning rhythm and blues artist and producer, was inducted into the N.C. Music Hall of Fame on Oct. 19. Charlotte Mayor Jennifer Roberts issued a proclamation in recognition of him for that day. A graduate of South Mecklenburg High School, Hamilton will also receive the Trendsetter Award at the Queen City Awards on Saturday, Dec. 16. Info: www.anthonyhamilton.com. Jema Bravo Kathryn Moody Elizabeth Grove Sam Youngcourt Jim Sutton Local Potter Exhibits at Gallery Jim Keffer, owner of Keffer Auto Group and a resi- dent of Ballantyne, is currently exhibiting his pot- tery through Sunday, Dec. 31, at Anne Neilson Fine Art Gallery, located in the Shops at Morrison near SouthPark. 'Color Me Georgi' Published Amazon has released "Color Me Georgi," a children's book authored by Monique McCullough, a native of Australia who now resides in Ballantyne.
