For most parents, the years have
flown by quickly. Suddenly your child
is leaving home for college and your
"baby" is making decisions about
classes, majors and roommates.
Parents want to yell, "Slow down!"
Mecklenburg County Commis-
sioner Trevor Fuller and his wife,
Camille Davidson, are Ballantyne
residents preparing to send their
son, Jackson, to college this fall.
Davidson, a lawyer and professor,
has reorganized her usual summer
schedule to include more family
time. "For summer 2017, I want
to spend time with my family," she
says. "Even if it is weekend trips or
just a movie down at StoneCrest or
Ballantyne Village — it is downtime."
