BALLANTYNE | who knew? Drew Devine of Andrew Roby believes many of the homes in the 20-year-old Ballantyne community are prime for renovations. "The kitchens and baths — what was wonderful then isn't anymore," he says. "Homeowners are now putting in custom features. A big wave of renovations is coming," he predicts. MORE RENOVATIONS COMING? Drew Devine The Symphony Guild expects the tour to raise $50,000, primarily to cover the cost of youth camps. Members of the Charlotte Symphony Youth Orchestras who attend these camps played music at each home during the tour. Ballantyne resident Rishi Patel was one of them. "I love participating," he says. According to Chris Rydel, manager of the Youth Orchestras, 49 kids participate from the 28277 ZIP code. "These kids have dedicated themselves to a passion," she says. Parrish Patel, Rishi's father, adds: "The guild supports all these young musicians and provides a great benefit for them, especially the camps. The guild provides enriching experiences that they'll have for the rest of their lives." The light color palette of the Jensens' kitchen is enhanced by the cabinet paint color, "White Duck" by Benjamin Moore. Show Us Your Creative Spark!
