More than 150 MetLife associates, family members, friends and community and business partners participated, raising more than $27,000 for The Relatives, an organization dedicated to keeping children and young adults safe, stable and on a path to successful futures. Also recently, the MetLife Third Party Distribution team donated 157 laptops to E2D (Eliminate the Digital Divide), an organization founded by a 12-year-old student who realized many of her classmates did not have computers to complete homework assignments. This summer MetLife Foundation joins Habitat for Humanity to celebrate the 25 th anniversary of the Women's Build by constructing a home that will be completed entirely by women who work for MetLife, their family members and friends. The Women's Build started in Charlotte and is now a global venture for Habitat for Humanity. MetLife's Theresa Foust, Marcus Bryant and Barbara Dare (fourth from left) join Pat Millen of E2D and Valerie Truesdale of Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools in celebrating the donation of 157 laptop computers to needy students. Teeing up as a MetLife foursome were Michael Botto, Kumar Das Gupta, Bryan Strickland and Andrew Paul.
