The June meeting will feature an update on continued growth in the area. The August meeting will focus on CMS, reviewing accomplishments of the previous year and outlining goals for the new year. Representatives from Wingate University and Central Piedmont Community College will also present information about educational opportunities at their Ballantyne campuses. Ray Eschert, founder of the breakfast club, also is working with several area leaders to form the South Charlotte Round Table, an advocacy group that would present a unifed voice in representing the area's needs to the city, county and state. Gallery Celebrates the Great Outdoors, Introduces Artist In celebration of June being Great Outdoors Month, Charlotte Fine Art (CFA) Gallery will bring the outside indoors and present landscape paintings through Saturday, June 25. Local artists will attend an evening reception on June 11. During the reception weekend, June 10-11, as a gift to dads, a 10 percent discount will be given. New among CFA's represented artists is Romero Britto, a pop artist out of Miami. The CFA now represents Britto exclusively in the greater Charlotte area . Free Class on Heartfulness Meditation Heartfulness Meditation, a program offered by Sahaj Marg (the Natural Path) Ram Chandra Mission, offers free meditation classes on Tuesdays at 7 p.m. at 7810 Ballantyne Commons Parkway, Suite 300.
