BALLANTYNE | wire Local Chamber Holds Spring Meetings The Ballantyne Chapter of the Charlotte Chamber of Commerce holds its Thursday luncheon meetings this spring on March 3 at Ballantyne Village Theatre and on April 7 and May 5 at Ballantyne Country Club. School Offers Youth Lessons, Team Play Boys and girls ages 13 and under can participate in PGA Junior League Golf June 20 through July 31 at Dana Rader Golf School. The league provides youngsters an opportunity to learn golf in a fun, social setting, where they play on teams in a popular scramble format. Salon Expands, Gains Notice Salon M2, a "green" salon opened in 2011 by Michele Matkovich at the Village at Robinson Farm, has opened a second location in the midtown area at Kings Court Shopping Center. Established in 2001 and managed by Chief Operating Offcer Ellen Wofford, FRA employs 17 people in Ballantyne who focus on conference operations, marketing and sponsorship sales. Bissell Organizations Hire, Promote Staff Bissell has hired Melinda Hopkins as senior property manager and Renee Kilminster as property manager. Stephen Toth has been named Gallery Restaurant manager at The Ballantyne Hotel & Lodge. Hughon Haye has been promoted to guest service manager at Aloft Charlotte Ballantyne. At Dana Rader Golf School, Kelly McKay has been hired as director of sales and marketing and Ben Austin as golf instructor. In promotions, Elizabeth Belote is now offce manager, and Nancy Harvey, an LPGA Class A professional and master instructor, is director of instruction.
