Gallery Offers Art by the Beatles, Dylan A collection of hand-signed artworks created by Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr, John Lennon, George Harrison and Bob Dylan debuts Friday, April 1, at an evening reception at Charlotte Fine Art Gallery in Carmel Commons. The art is on exhibit and for sale through Sunday, April 3. Neal Glaser, collection curator, as well as Ringo Starr's art publisher and Paul McCartney's art distributor, will be on hand during the exhibit to provide background and stories behind the artwork. "Never before has one exhibit featured the hand- signed artworks of all four Beatles and Bob Dylan together in one place," Glaser says. "This is a rare opportunity to see the creative minds of fve rock legends." Starr donates all proceeds of his art sales to the Lotus Foundation. Lennon only offcially signed and released 14 artworks in his lifetime. The 1969 "Bag One" portfolio hand-signed in the exhibit was presented to Yoko Ono as a wedding gift and reissued after his death by Ono with her signature on it.
