Golf School To Build Short Course In concert with the PGA of America and United States Golf Association's "Tee it Forward" initiative — whose aim is to make the game fun, faster and more enjoyable — the Dana Rader Golf School will construct an 18-hole short course to be incorporated into the existing full-length 18-hole Golf Club at Ballantyne. The par 71 short course, which will measure over 3,800 yards with a mix of par 3's, 4's and 5's ranging in length from 90 yards to 325 yards, is designed for families and junior golfers as well as new golf instruction programs. BIZ BUZZ Hess's Spivey Is Top Putter Bissell Cos. hosted its 8th Annual Knotts Cup putting contest on Knotts Green in Ballantyne Corporate Park on Wednesday, Oct. 5. David Spivey with Hess Corp. won this year's competition. Twenty contestants representing tenants in the Chandler, Simmons and Hixon office buildings competed in the nine-hole putting contest. More than 1,000 tenants enjoyed lunch while watching the competition.
