Farmers Markets Now Open The Village at Robinson Farm Market is now open two days a week, Saturdays and Wednesdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The market will continue through November with monthly seasonal produce and transition to Christmas trees for the annual Turkey Trot race. Jason Stone of Unity Farms runs the market. Other vendors include Duke's Bread and Cloister Honey. The Meeting Street Market at Elon Park Elementary School is also open again every Tuesday from 4 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. The market sells farm-raised, grass-fed and fnished meats, eggs and farm-fresh vegetables and produce, as well as crafts, cheese, breads, baked goods, prepared foods, honey and olive oils. BALLANTYNE | wire Restaurant Week: July 18-27 The 2014 Queen's Feast: Charlotte Restaurant Week will run from Friday, July 18 through Sunday, July 27, offering diners three or more dinner courses for $30 per person. Breakfast Club Meets June, August The Ballantyne Breakfast Club will host two meetings this summer, one in June and the other in August. Both are on Saturdays. The June meeting has a surprise agenda; the August meeting will focus on schools. Meetings are at The Ballantyne Hotel & Lodge starting at 9 a.m. The social hour begins at 8:30 a.m. with complimentary coffee and refreshments. Meetings are free, and the public is invited. Koi Tour June 21 The Piedmont Koi & Watergarden Society hosts the 2014 Charlotte Pond Tour on Saturday, June 21 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The tour begins with two koi ponds in South Charlotte and features nine overall throughout the city. Tickets: $5 per person. Participants will receive a $5 gift card to Hwy 55 Burgers, Shakes & Fries.
